I enjoyed the writing review process, it was nice to get feedback from different perspectives. Through the peer review I’ve learned I’m not exactly a bad writer, but I do need to reread and look over my grammar. I felt a little nervous reviewing my peers work though, I didn’t want to give the wrong opinion so I kept comments to a minimum. I would like if we actually went over what we did wrong in class, to see if our comments are valid. I do not want to make changes to my work and it be the incorrect structure. Overall it is a effective way to improve our writing, and I hope to continue this process with added revisions.
I did not include a thesis, I feel as if this topic doesn’t need one. As I stated before, I felt my writing wasn’t atrocious so besides correcting grammar I’m not making major changes. I included topic sentences for each paragraph, and a valid conclusion. Aside from the sentence structure my grammar is one definite thing I need to look over. I tend to get past and present tense mixed up, and put punctuation where it isn’t needed.
Since I received my peer review I’ve been working on revising my essay. I’m not sure this is a 100 percent grade essay but, I have tried my best to correct myself and listen to my peers opinions. Hopefully, through this processI can become a better writer overall.
